I started off with this pullover cotton sweater that I haven't worn much. I purchased it a number of years ago because of the perfectly wild colors and stripes (of course).
I cut up the front then stood in front of the mirror with my pincushion and began reshaping the neckline. I finished the cut edges with orange fold over elastic and used a vintage button to close it up. I think it is way cuter this way.
And a little something fixed for Fran. These were overalls but the snap crotch was falling apart so I opened up the seams a bit more and top stitched it together. A jumper!
Right now I am working on making underwear for myself from old t-shirts. Nothing fancy. Just cotton briefs in good colors. I think once I get a good pattern I will really be able to crank them out.
