In an attempt to conserve a bit more energy, Matt has installed an indoor clothesline in our laundry room. As you can see he screwed three ring screws (I am not sure of the technical name for them) into a board at eight inches apart and three more into the door frame at the other side of the room and then strung line through.
We now have enough room to hang dry a regular load of laundry rather than using the machine. And in the warmer weather we have a place to hang our scivvies which we don't usually let fly from our second floor deck (we once overheard a neighbor complain).
An entire load of diapers and wipes fits!
