I would like to think that maybe I will be able to post everyday this week during February break. I have been doing pretty well and I have been really enjoying it. I adore all of the comments that you have been leaving me and wish that I had a little more computer time in order to respond personally to every one. I try but it doesn't always happen and I get behind. Please know that each one brings a smile to my day.
I absolutely loved all of the Ravelry comments the other day and I'll have you know I think I may be hooked. If you are on there please friend me so I can see what you are working on and see what tempting patterns you have found. I just added like ten projects on to my list. I want to make them all. That place is dangerous! Moving on...
Today Eleanor and I had a mom-daughter date. These don't happen too often and this morning felt very special for both of us. We went to Steamer No. 10 Theatre which is a small theater that we know very well. In fact when Eleanor was just a wee babe I rehearsed a number of times on that stage with her on my back. She knows it well.
We saw a production of Rumpelstiltskin performed by Matthias Kuchta, an incredible German puppeteer. His puppets are strange and erie and quite incredible. Matthias gives each one such character and grace in movement. I would highly recommend catching one of his shows if ever possible, this was the second time I saw him perform and his talent is enviable. This ends his U.S. tour but he'll be back so remember his name.

And now I will share with you a little bit of family puppetry. Are you prepared? I don't know if you are. Here is a video that my father and two sisters made recently. The three of them are really getting into making movies and we are certainly enjoying them. The husband and wife puppets in this show were two that I made in college. It is nice to see them in action again!
I present to you..."This Wacky World"
One more thing that I want to inform you all about, two of my favorite bloggers have teamed up for a fantastic giveaway. Please head on over to Thimbleberry Kitschen and enter to win Rae's book Cooking Fun. I can't say enough good stuff about this cookbook. We use it often and a number of the recipes are now family favorites. Both of these fun crafty ladies are are part of this month's swap too!
